Join our dedicated team and bring your ideas to life — from the first sketch to the finished product.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and developing new headphone models, improving existing ones, and defining acoustic design principles. You’ll work hands-on with physical prototypes, sound testing, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to turn concepts into market-ready products.
Design, build, and evaluate physical prototypes of high-quality acoustic systems
Integrate electro-acoustic components while considering system design and manufacturability
Perform acoustic measurements on components and full assemblies and analyze the results
Collaborate directly with DSP, control, electrical, and mechanical engineers to tune and optimize performance
Support prototype and production builds, both on-site at the factory and remotely
Work with manufacturing partners to validate and refine assembly procedures
Conduct feasibility studies on new technologies and continuously monitor market trends
Use tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, or FEA to simulate and predict acoustic system behavior
3+ years of hands-on product development experience in acoustics, ideally in the consumer or professional audio sector
A technical degree or equivalent practical experience
Solid understanding of acoustics, analog electronics, and audio tuning processes
Hands-on experience with headphone acoustic structures, including enclosure and port design
Proficiency in using acoustic test equipment (e.g., GRAS, B&K, Audio Precision, Listen Inc.)
Ability to define requirements for acoustic components such as drivers, microphones, and meshes
Strong communication skills in English
Bonus: Experience with noise cancelling, digital signal processing, and acoustic simulation tools
A dynamic and collaborative working environment with flat hierarchies
The opportunity to shape world-class audio products from the ground up
Support for personal and professional development through training and growth programs
Flexible working models and attractive employment conditions
30 days of vacation, vacation bonus, discounted Germany ticket, company pension scheme, and more
